Laguna Reef

27°59.847’N – 34°28.915’E

Laguna Reef has this name because a coral formation forms the edge to a 10-12m deep sandy lagoon. South Laguna is a well-protected dive site where you can find different kinds of nudibranchs. But you need a good eye to spot these tiny multicoloured specimens. The outer part of the site is a plateau with table corals, which gradually turns into a steep wall with many hard and soft corals.
OBSERVATIONS Acropora, soft corals, gorgonia, fire corals, leopard shark, white-tip reef shark. NOTES There are sometimes unexpectedly strong currents.
